Imagine…

Imagine 2 or 3 neighborhood adults working with 4-6 public school students between ages 7 & 17.

  • They meet in a safe space – a library, park, church, rec center. Maybe a home or virtually.
  • Two or 3 sessions a week, 1-3 hours each.
  • Begin with a snack. Take frequent breaks for fun activities.
  • Give kids time and space to enjoy their summers – but also help them with their reading or academics!
  • All adults have background clearances.

This is what we imagine the Neighborhood Tutoring Teams to look like.
