E.W. Stokes Community Freedom PCS (@EWStokesPCS) / Posts / X Volunteer Program

Elsie Whitlow Stokes Public Charter School invites community members to volunteer & support daytime Math and literacy needs! The school needs volunteers who can spend a minimum of 1 to 3 hours between 8:00am and 3:30pm at least once a week helping students K-5th grade during intervention sessions.

Volunteers from all backgrounds are needed, especially bilingual English-Spanish or English-French speakers. Volunteers who have an interest in starting a Spanish or French language club can let us know! 

Application Process

Complete this Volunteer Application form to indicate your interest and availability to volunteer. A Stokes staff member will the contact you for placement & further details.

Once the form above has been completed, the Family Engagement Coordinator at Stokes will contact you with steps on completing a background check (cost covered by the school).

If you do not hear back within a week of completing this form, please contact tull.osman@dctutormentor.org.
